When: Wednesdays 14:00-15:00 (usually - special times marked in schedule)
Where: GFI Ø 321 (usually - special locations marked in schedule)
Who: All are welcome.

Aims: Improve critical reading skills, develop methods to evaluate research papers, remain current with the literature, broaden background knowledge on climate issues.

Presenters are asked to prepare a 5-minute introduction of the paper (context of study, goals, main result) and lead the discussion, bearing in mind standard "reviewer" questions such as: What gap in scientific knowledge does the paper fill? Is the methodology appropriate for addressing the scientific questions raised? Do the conclusions follow from the evidence? Are biases, limitations, assumptions, uncertainties and alternative explanations adequately documented and discussed? Feel free to volunteer, and also to choose papers that are outside your area of focus or research expertise.

All papers are linked on this page (scroll over authors).
